Why Aren’t my earnings matching the CPM on the campaign?
Earnings can fall below the CPM when a campaign nears its budget and payments are prorated, or based on when you submitted your clip.
If your earnings seem lower than expected, it’s usually because the campaign is in its final stages.
When a campaign’s budget is nearly spent, payments are prorated to distribute the remaining budget fairly among all clippers. This ensures that everyone gets a proportional share when views exceed the remaining budget.
Another reason earnings may differ is the timing of clip submission. Earnings are calculated from the moment a clip is submitted, not when it’s posted. That’s why we recommend uploading clips as soon as they’re created, the earlier they’re submitted, the more views and potential earnings you can capture.
We’re constantly improving how clips are throttled into campaigns to help maximize earnings potential.
Some campaigns are very popular and budgets can run out quickly, so it’s important to watch for new campaigns and submit your clips promptly to make the most of every opportunity.
